Samsung launches world’s first Curved UHD TV (Ultra High Definition)

Samsung has launched world’s largest bendable curved UHD TV (ultra-high definition) television with screen size measuring 105 inches.


Samsung announced launch of the world’s largest curved television at IFA with screen size diagonally measuring 105 inch. Samsung Electronics Senior Director Michael Zoller said – that curved television model is available across markets globally. No words on pricing has been announced yet. The curved UHD TV has 11 million pixel screen resolution which is almost five times the resolution of full high-definition (FHD – 1080p) television.

Samsung Curved UHD TVs will be able to support Netflix UHD streaming in additional European countries as Netflix further expands its service. The Korean giant has also unveiled its wireless audio multiroom speakers — M3 — that can be controlled from users’ smartphone. These speakers can be wirelessly connected to a common device and music can be played on them simultaneously.

Samsung has also unveiled their latest flagship, the Galaxy Note 4 along with the Gear VR at the same event.
