Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime has been announced in USA. It is the latest budget smartphone in the ‘J series’, which runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Go through its features, specifications and pricing below.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 14nm processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs on Samsung’s TouchWiz UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

In the camera department, there is a 5 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash along with a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for clicking selfies and making video calls. It is 8.89mm thick and weighs 148 grams.

In the connectivity department, the Galaxy J3 Prime includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The smartphone packs a 2600mAh battery under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime is available in Black color and has been priced at US $150 without contract in USA. It can be purchased from T-Mobile or Metro PCS with a two-year contract for $6 per month.
