Today, Samsung has announced the Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition that comes with 8GB RAM, a 256GB SSD (Solid State Drive) and has a premium look courtesy of the new gold finish. The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition features a 12-inch (2160 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The display offers 94% of Adobe RGB colour coverage for accurate colour output and is better than its predecessor, according to Samsung. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz dual-core 6th Gen Intel Core M processor. It comes with 8 GB of RAM along with 256 GB (SSD) of internal storage. The device will run on Windows 10 Home / Windows 10 Pro out of the box.
On the camera front, the Galaxy TabPro S rocks 5 megapixel cameras on both rear and front for selfies and video calling. You can do 4x digital zoom and record Full HD videos as well. It weighs 693 grams and comes bundled with a full-sized keyboard cover out of the box. It has a flexible hinge that enables optimal, dual-angle viewing and also connects via Pogo pin which eliminates the need for pairing or charging separately. It also comes with a touchpad that will provide easy control, even when used in Stand Mode.
On the connectivity front, the Galaxy TabPro S comes with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band) MIMO, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, one HDMI, two USB ports and USB Type-C 3.1. The tablet packs a 5,200 mAh battery under the hood that promises up to 10.5 hours of battery life and fully charges in 2.5 hours flat.
