Samsung Galaxy TabPro S 2-in-1 launched in US and UK

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, a 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet which was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2016 is now officially available in USA and UK.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S features a 12-inch (2160 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The display offers 94% of Adobe RGB colour coverage for accurate colour output and is better than its predecessor, according to Samsung. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz dual-core 6th Gen Intel Core M processor. It comes with 4 GB of RAM along with 128 GB (SSD) of internal storage. The device will run on Windows 10 Home / Windows 10 Pro out of the box.

On the camera front, the Galaxy TabPro S rocks 5 megapixel cameras on both rear and front for selfies and video calling. It weighs 693 grams and comes bundled with a full-sized keyboard cover out of the box. It has a flexible hinge that enables optimal, dual-angle viewing and also connects via Pogo pin which eliminates the need for pairing or charging separately. It also comes with a touchpad that will provide easy control, even when used in Stand Mode.


On the connectivity front, the Galaxy TabPro S comes with 4G LTE Cat.6 (Optional), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band) MIMO, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. The tablet packs a 5,200 mAh battery under the hood that promises up to 10.5 hours of battery life and fully charges in 2.5 hours flat.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is available in Black and White color variants and has been priced at US $899.99 (INR Rs 59,744 approximately) in USA and £849 (INR Rs 81,558 approximately) in UK. It will also be sold via Best Buy starting from March 18, 2016 and will available from Microsoft stores and starting April 4, 2016 in USA, Puerto Rico and Canada. Accessories like Multi-port adapter (HDMI, USB Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen will be sold separately.
