Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and S2 9.7 are two new tablets which will be announced in the near future. They have received certification in Korea with model numbers SM-T715 and SM-T815.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and S2 9.7 has been certified by RRA (Radio Research Agency), which is a subsidiary of KCC (Korean Communications Commission), similar to the FCC in USA.
Last year, Samsung’s tablets had 8.4 and 10.5-inches displays but this year the company is opting for portability and more compact form factor with 8.0 and 9.7-inch displays. Both of them are expected to come with an aspect ratio of 4:3, which has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
Both the tablets the expected to be powered by the company’s in-house 64-bit Exynos processors coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It will come with 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded via microSD cards. It will rock a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera. According to reports, both the variants will be equipped with 4G LTE support and there will be separate WiFi only variants as well.
Samsung is expected to launch the new tablets in August which will be running on Android Lollipop and later be upgraded to Android M.
