Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8-inch has been launched in India today, priced at Rs 20,500. It was unveiled in Russia back in March this year. Lets have a look at the specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8-inch tablet features a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 4:3 display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit processor. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.
On the camera front, the Galaxy Tab A 8-inch comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera. It has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet is 7.5 mm thick and weighs 320 grams.
The Galaxy Tab A 8-inch comes with 4G LTE (with voice calling), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery under the hood.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8-inch is available in Smokey Titanium and White colour variants and has been priced at Rs 20,500 in India. If you’re an Airtel customer, you’ll get 2GB of free 4G data for two months.
