Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 officially launched in Germany starting at 299 Euros

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 was launched couple of weeks back in Russia. Now, the tablet has been launched in Germany last week.


The Samsung Galaxy Tab 9.7 WiFi variant has been priced at 299 Euros (US $329 / INR Rs 20,500 approximately) and the 4G LTE variant is priced at 349 Euros (US $384 / INR Rs 23,900 approximately). The tablet will be available in Black and White colour variants and is going on sale in Germany by the end of April 2015. Lets have a look at the specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch tablet features a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 4:3 display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.

On the camera front, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera. It has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet is 7.5 mm thick and weighs 457 grams.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+ (optional), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS as connectivity options. The tablet is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery under the hood.
