Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen support has been announced in Korea. It was launched as Galaxy Tab A 10.1 around four months back. This tablet comes with similar specs as the Tab A 10.1 but supports the S Pen Stylus and its new features, that were introduced with the Galaxy Note 7. Lets have a look at them below.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) rocks a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA TFT PLS 16:10 display, that is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card. The tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It also has Kid Mode 4.0 that will let parents set the apps which the Kids can use and also set a time period for tablet usage.
On the connectivity front, the Galaxy Tab A includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+ (optional), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS / Beidou. The tablet packs a massive 7,300 mAh battery under the hood.
In the camera department, it rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. There is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. It is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 558 grams.
It comes with an enhanced S Pen, that has 0.7 mm tip with improved pressure sensitivity. The screen off memo will let you pin memo to the Always On Display. Smart Select will let you easily create and share GIF animations and new Air Command functions Magnify and Translate, will enable users to zoom in on the screen or convert languages with a simple hover of the S Pen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen is available in Black and White colors. It is priced at 489,000 Won (US $434 / INR Rs 29,125 approximately) in Korea. There is no information on global launch yet.
