Samsung Galaxy On8 has been launched in India on September 27. It is the latest smartphone in the ‘On series’ after the launch of Galaxy On7 (2016) in China last week. Lets check out its specifications, features, pricing and availability below.

The Samsung Galaxy On8 rocks a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display, that is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 processor. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top.
The Galaxy On8 features a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. It can record Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture for better selfies and video calling in low lighting conditions. It supports Dual SIM (micro), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a fully metal unibody design, that is 7.8 mm thick and weighs 151.7 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,300 mAh battery under the hood.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 is available in Gold, Black and White color variants. It has been priced at Rs 15,900 in India and will be exclusively sold via Flipkart starting from October 2. However, it will be selling for Rs 14,900 on Flipkart from October 3 during the Big Billions Days festival. Samsung will also give a free 32GB microSD card, along with no cost EMI + Exchange during this sale.
