The Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) rocks a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. It has a narrow bezel of 2.7 mm and the display is protected by Corning Gorillas Glass 4. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 14nm processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card. The phablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top.
The Galaxy On7 features a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture for better selfies and video calling in low lighting conditions. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded on its home button that supports mobile payments using Alipay as well besides unlocking the phone. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD card) and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a fully metal unibody design, that is 8 mm thick and weighs 167 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,300 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) is available in Pink Gold, Black and Gold color variants. It has been priced at CNY 1599 (US $240 / INR Rs 16,036 approximately) and has already gone on sale in China. The company has also teased the new Galaxy On5 (2016) powered by Snapdragon 617 chipset, but has not revealed any details about its availability or pricing yet.
