Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro has been officially launched in India today, along with the On7 Pro. It is the successor of the Galaxy On5, that was announced last year. Lets go through the specifications of the device below.

The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top of it.

The S Bike mode that was introduced with the Galaxy J3 (2016), has made its way into this handset as well. It is a new mode for bikers that will let them activate pre-recorded message for all callers, motion lock feature to ensure that the rider stops before answering, urgent calls filter and more by just activating the mode by tapping on the NFC tag.

On the camera front, the Galaxy On5 Pro rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and Full HD 1080p video recording. There is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. It is 8.5 mm thick, weighs 149 grams, supports Dual SIM (micro), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It also has an Ultra data saving (UDS) mode, which is powered by Opera Max and it compresses cellular data across all contents.

On the connectivity front, the Galaxy On5 Pro comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/GLONASS. The smartphone packs a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro is available in Gold and Black color variants. It has been priced at Rs 9,190 in India and can be purchased exclusively via Amazon. Recently, the company has also launched the Galaxy J2 (2016) and Galaxy J Max.
