Samsung Galaxy On5 was in the news recently when it appeared on the Samsung India website for a brief period of time earlier this week. In China, the Galaxy On7 has been listed on the Samsung China website that also confirms the existence of Galaxy On5. Here, we will take a look at the Galaxy On5.
Samsung Galaxy On5 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy On5 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with the latest version of the TouchWiz on top of it.
The Galaxy On5 comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture that can record Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 149 grams. It supports Dual SIM (micro).
The Galaxy On5 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS / GLONASS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.
The Samsung Galaxy On5 will be available in Black and Gold color variants. There is no information on the availability and pricing yet.
