Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy Note7 at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event in New York on August 2. It was surprising to see that the phablet did not come with 6GB of RAM, when other brands have already launched their flagship smartphones with 6GB RAM. However, Samsung Mobile Chief Dong Jin Koh has confirmed at a conference in Seoul that Samsung will be introducing the 128GB storage variant of the Note7 with 6GB RAM in the Chinese market, whereas the global version has 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM.
He has also added that Samsung will release Android 7.0 Nougat update for its smartphones in two or three months, however that will only be done after collecting feedback from users as Samsung aims to build a stable and seamless platform for their users.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 was launched in India recently and has been priced at Rs 59,900. It costs around $849.99 in the US. The 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM combo will supposedly cost CNY 6,088 (US $918 / INR Rs 61,340 approximately) in China, however we do not know the exact launch date yet and if it will make it to the other countries or not.
