Samsung India had launched the Galaxy Note5 back in September last year. The company has finally launched the Dual SIM variant of the device, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 Dual SIM in the country today. Lets check out the specifications, features and pricing.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 Dual SIM Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 Dual SIM features a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Super AMOLED display, with a pixel density of 518 ppi, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by octa-core Exynos 7420 (Quad 2.1 GHz + Quad 1.5 GHz) 64-bit processor. It comes with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and has 32 / 64 GB of internal storage, which cannot be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with TouchWiz on top of it. Samsung Pay goes out of beta and will start functioning from August 20. It comes with the new S Pen stylus with click mechanism. It has KNOX Active Protection and My KNOX app to protect sensitive data (personal and work).
One the camera front, the Galaxy Note5 rocks a 16 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash along with f/1.9 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation. The rear camera It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Users can click pictures with ‘Pro’ mode which has the capability to shoot images in RAW format and can also control shutter speed. It is 7.6 mm thick and weighs 171 grams. It has heart rate sensor on the back and fingerprint scanner on the home button. As the name suggests, it supports Dual SIM (nano).
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 LE & apt-X, GPS, GLONASS and NFC as connectivity options. The phablet is powered by a 3,000 mAh non-replaceable battery under the hood with fast charging, which charges it completely in 90 minutes. It also comes with new fast wireless charging which charges it completely in 120 minutes.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 Dual SIM is available in Black Sapphire, Silver and Gold Platinum color variants. The 32GB variant will cost Rs 51,400 in India whereas the 64GB variant will set the customer back by Rs 57,400. It will also come with 12 month of free 4G data from Airtel.
