Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 get certified in China

Samsung Galaxy J series were to be kept alive with the launch of Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7, as reported couple of months back. The launch is possibly quite near as the devices have been certified on TENAA.

The specifications of both Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 match with the earlier leaks. Lets have a look at them once again.

Samsung Galaxy J5 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (SM-J5008) features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core/ octa-core processor. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD slot. The device will run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top of it.

On the camera front, it rocks a 8 or 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 149 grams.

On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The smartphone packs a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (SM-J7008) features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core Marvel PXA1936 64-bit processor. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD slot. The device will run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top of it.

On the camera front, it rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 170 grams.

On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The smartphone packs a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

Both the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 are expected to support Dual SIM feature along with plastic body with removable back panel. The devices are expected to be officially launched in a couple of weeks.
