Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro with 2GB RAM goes official

Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro has been officially announced in China today. It is a ‘Pro’ variant of the Galaxy J3, which was unveiled in China back in November last year. Lets check out the specifications and features of the device now.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, that is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with TouchWiz on top of it.

The Galaxy J3 Pro comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8 mm thick and weighs 139 grams. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. The back cover of the device has a metal-like finish although it is made up of polycarbonate material.

The Galaxy J3 Pro includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB OTG, NFC and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,600 mAh removable battery under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro is available in Gray and Gold color variants. It is heading to China Telecom soon and has been priced at CNY 990 (US $151 / INR Rs 10,070 approximately). There is no information on the availability yet.
