Samsung Galaxy J3 officially launched in China

Samsung Galaxy J3 has been officially announced in China today. It is a successor of the Galaxy J2 that was launched in India two months back. Lets go through the specifications of the smartphone.


Samsung Galaxy J3 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy J3 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display that is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with TouchWiz on top of it.

The Galaxy J3 comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 138 grams. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It will support Dual SIM (depending on the region).


The Galaxy J3 includes 4G LTE (FDD LTE: B1, B3, B7 and TDD LTE: B41), 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 will be available in White, Golden and Black color variants. However, the company has not revealed its pricing or date of availability yet.
