Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is now available on AT&T in USA, after Verizon started it selling yesterday. It has been priced at $169.99 at AT&T whereas it costs $168 on Verizon, but the latter is giving it for $109.99 to its prepaid customers.
In case you want to go with contract on AT&T, you do not have to pay an upfront fee but for a 30 months instalment, it costs $5.67/month; for 24 months you have to pay $7.09 and if you want to settle it in 20 instalments, you have to pay $8.50/month. A variant of the smartphone was recently launched in India as well for Rs 8,990 ($135 approximately).

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display that is protected by Asahi Dragontrail X glass and comes with a pixel density of 295 PPI. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with TouchWiz on top of it.
The Galaxy J3 comes with a 5 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 7.87 mm thick and weighs 139 grams. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.
The Galaxy J3 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,600 mAh removable battery under the hood.
