Samsung Galaxy J1 mini with 4-inch display goes official

Samsung Galaxy J1 mini (SM-J105) has been officially launched in Philippines and Russia. It is a 3G budget smartphone in the ‘Galaxy J’ series. Lets go through the specifications of the device.


Samsung Galaxy J1 mini Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy J1 mini features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA TFT display that is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has 768 MB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Galaxy J1 mini comes with a 5 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and can record 720p videos. On the front, it has a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calling. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio and supports Dual SIM (select regions). It is 10.8 mm thick and weighs 123 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 mini includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,500 mAh battery under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 mini is available in Black, Gold and White color variants but the company has not revealed the pricing details yet. The company has also launched the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) in Russia.
