Samsung as expected has launched the Galaxy J1 in India exclusively on Amazon India for Rs 7,190 yesterday. The smartphone was launched in Malaysia couple of weeks ago. The device comes with some good offers as well.
Samsung Galaxy J1 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy J1 features a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 pixels) TFT display which is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest version of the TouchWiz on top of it. Hopefully it will get an Android 5.0 Lollipop update as well.
The Galaxy J1 comes with a 5-megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 122 grams. It supports Dual SIM.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,850 mAh battery under the hood with ultra power saving mode.
The Galaxy J1 is available in Black, White and Blue colour variants and has been priced at Rs 7,190 in India. It will be exclusively available only on Amazon India. It comes with some exciting offers which includes Rs 2,000 worth 500 MB free 2G/3G data per month for 6 months on Aircel and Reliance networks, Rs 600 worth free streaming and premium content on starsports.com, wapsite and apps worth Rs 1,400 for 3 months.
