Samsung launched the Galaxy J1 couple of weeks back in Malaysia. The smartphone is making its way to India on February 11 and will be sold exclusively on Amazon India and has been priced at Rs 7,190.
Samsung Galaxy J1 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy J1 features a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 pixels) TFT display which is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest version of the TouchWiz on top of it. Hopefully it will get an Android 5.0 Lollipop update as well.
The Galaxy J1 comes with a 5-megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 122 grams. It supports Dual SIM.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,850 mAh battery under the hood with ultra power saving mode. The smartphone will come in Black, White and Blue colour variants and has been priced at Rs 7,190. It will launch exclusively on Amazon India on February 11.
