Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) with Super AMOLED display officially launched in Dubai

Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) has been officially announced in Dubai. It is now available in Jumbo electronics showroom, a retailer in UAE, according to a GSMArena report. Lets check out the specifications of the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) features a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA Super AMOLED display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor along with Mali T-720 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Galaxy J1 comes with a 5 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio and supports Dual SIM in select regions like India.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,050 mAh battery under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) is available in Black, Gold and White color variants and has been priced at AED 499 (US $136 / INR Rs 9,211 approximately).
