Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 (SM-G1600), an Android flip phone has been officially launched in China. It is the successor of the original Galaxy Folder smartphone that was launched back in 2015. Lets have a look at the specifications, features and pricing of the device below.

The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 features a 3.8-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA IPS display, that has a pixel density of 246 PPI and has a screen-to-body ratio of 56%. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 64-bit processor along with Adreno 308 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It comes with a polycarbonate body but certainly looks like metal from a distance.
The Galaxy Folder 2 rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and Full HD 1080p video recording. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (nano) and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It is 15.4 mm thick and weighs 160 grams.
On the connectivity front, the Galaxy Folder 2 has 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and GPS with GLONASS. The smartphone packs in a 1,950 mAh Li-lon battery (removable) under the hood.
The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 is available in Golden color and is going on sale in China soon. However, the pricing has not been announced yet.
