Samsung Galaxy C7 with 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 625 SoC goes official

Samsung Galaxy C7 has been officially launched in China, along with the Galaxy C5. It is a big phablet with 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display in the new ‘C Series’. Lets check out the specifications of the device now.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 features a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display, that is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 14nm processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM along with 32 / 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top of it. There is support for Samsung Pay as well.

On the camera front, it rocks a 16 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. There is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture for selfies and video calling. It comes with a full metal body, which is 6.7 mm thick and weighs 165 grams. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button.

On the connectivity front, the Galaxy C7 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. The phablet packs a 3,300 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge 3.0.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 is available in Silver, Grey, Pink Gold and Gold color variants. It has been priced at CNY 2599 (US $396 / INR Rs 26,537 approximately) for the 32GB model and CNY 2799 (US $427 / INR Rs 28,579 approximately) for the 64GB variant. There is no information on the availability yet.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 has also been launched in China and will go on sale starting from June 17, 2016. It has been priced at CNY 2199 (US $336 / INR Rs 22,449 approximately) for the 32GB model and CNY 2399 (US $366 / INR Rs 24,494 approximately) for the 64GB variant.
