Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand Prime in India, which is now available on Amazon India for Rs 13,500. The company has now announced the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G, which will be launching in India around second week of March. They also announced the Galaxy J1 4G and Galaxy Core Prime 4G smartphones earlier today. Let us have a look at the specifications of the device.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G LTE Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G features a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest version of the TouchWiz on top of it. Hopefully it will get an Android 5.0 Lollipop update as well.
The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash which can also shoot 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 156 grams. It supports Dual SIM.
The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS and NFC as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood with ultra power saving mode.
The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G will be available in White and Grey colour variants and will be priced around Rs 15,990 in India. The smartphone will go on sale around the second week of March, 2015.
