Samsung announces Galaxy Core Prime 4G smartphone for India

Samsung launched the Galaxy Core Prime in India, which is now available on Flipkart for Rs 9,200. The company is now announcing the Galaxy Core Prime 4G which will be launching in India around second week of March. They also announced the Galaxy J1 4G earlier today. Let us have a look at the specifications of the device.



Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G LTE Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G features a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest version of the TouchWiz on top of it. Hopefully it will get an Android 5.0 Lollipop update as well.

The Galaxy Core Prime 4G comes with a 5-megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.8 mm thick and weighs 130 grams. It supports Dual SIM.


The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS and NFC as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood with ultra power saving mode.

The Galaxy Core Prime 4G will be available in White, Silver and Charcoal Grey colour variants and will be priced around Rs 10,990 in India. The smartphone will go on sale around the second week of March, 2015.
