Rumor suggests the development of a new 10-inch Samsung Tab, The Galaxy Tab 5

Few weeks back leaks surfaced the prototype of the upcoming Flagship phablet of Samsung, the Galaxy S6. The Korean giant Samsung is said to be working on a high-end Tablet too, probably the Samsung Galaxy Tab 5. Now according to a new leaked screenshot from an import/export site it is clear that Samsung is developing a 10-inch device.


According to the leaked information, the model no. on the upcoming device is SM-T555 which will run on the latest iteration of Android. It will be powered up by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC. Keeping the size in mind, the Galaxy Tab 4 which featured a 7-inch screen, the Galaxy Tab 5 will take a bump to 10-inch. The listing on the site shows the price of the tablet as Rs. 22,571 for this device.

A listing of a 7-inch tablet has been also found on the website bearing a model no. SM-T116. It has been mentioned too that this model is just for ‘Testing Purpose’ and would be ‘Destroyed’ after the testing is being done. The SM-T116 is an entry-level slate powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Speadtrum SC8830, 1GB of RAM running on Android 4.4.4. They have imported 30 such models for this above purpose. The average price of each of the units comes around to be Rs. 6,450.
