Reliance Retail drop the price of LYF Flame 1, Wind 5 and Water 7 in India

Earlier this month, Reliance Retail had slashed prices of some LYF smartphones. The company has again announced price cut for some more LYF devices – Flame 1, Wind 5 and Water 7. Lets take a look at the revised pricing of the following devices below.

Revised Pricing of LYF Smartphones

  • LYF Flame 1 – Original Price – Rs 5,499 | Revised Price – Rs 4,399 (Rs 1,100 off)
  • LYF Wind 5 – Original Price – Rs 6,599 | Revised Price – Rs 5,599 (Rs 1,000 off)
  • LYF Water 7 – Original Price – Rs 12,999 | Revised Price – Rs 9,999 (Rs 3,000 off)

Now, LYF phones will come with 3 months of unlimited 4G data on the Reliance Jio network. Users will also get unlimited VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) calls, HD video calls, 9000 SMS and full access to Digital life for 3 months. These devices now come with a 2 year warranty too. Reliance LYF Flame 1 Specifications

The LYF Flame 1 features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Flame 1 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 138 grams.

The Flame 1 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.

It is powered by a 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Wind 5 comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (micro), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 8.45 mm thick and weighs 137 grams.

The Wind 5 includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh Lithium-ion battery under the hood, which promises up to 6.5 hours of talk time on 4G, up to 5 hours of HD video playback, up to 20 hours of audio and up to 140 hours of standby time.

The LYF Water 7 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, that comes with a pixel density of 400 PPI and is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Water 7 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 8.55 mm thick and weighs 160 grams. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The Water 7 includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery under the hood, which promises up to 14 hours of talk time on 4G, up to 7 hours of HD video playback, up to 20 hours of audio and up to 150 hours of standby time.
