Reliance LYF Wind 2 with 6-inch display, 4G VoLTE launched in India for Rs 8299

Reliance Retail has officially launched the LYF Wind 2 in India. It is an upgraded bigger variant of the Wind 1, which was announced in June. Lets take a look at the specifications, features and pricing of the phablet here.

The LYF Wind 2 features a 6.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that comes with a pixel density of 294 PPI. It is powered by a 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor along with 600 MHz Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Wind 2 comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (standard + micro / microSD), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 223 grams.

The Wind 2 includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 2,850 mAh Lithium-ion battery under the hood, which promises up to 9 hours of talk time on 4G, up to 6 hours of HD video playback, up to 35 hours of audio playback and up to 190 hours of standby time.

The Reliance LYF Wind 2 is available in Gold color and has been priced at Rs 8,299 in India. It is now selling via all Reliance Digital and other retail stores across the country.
