Reliance Retail has officially launched the LYF Water 8 in India today. It is the latest smartphone in the ‘Water series’. Lets check out the specifications and features of the device below.
Reliance LYF Water 8 Specifications
The LYF Water 8 features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED display, that has a pixel density of 294 PPI. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) 64-bit processor along with 550 MHz Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The Water 8 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD card), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 7.0 mm thick and weighs 122 grams.
The Water 8 includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,600 mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery under the hood, which promises up to 10 hours of talk time on 4G, up to 5 hours of HD video playback, up to 23 hours of audio and up to 320 hours of standby time.
The Reliance LYF Water 8 is available in Black and White color variants. It has been priced at Rs 10,999 in India. Recently, the company had launched the LYF Water 6 and LYF Water 4 smartphones in the country.
