Reliance LYF Water 10 with VoLTE launched in India for Rs 8699

Reliance Retail has officially launched the LYF Water 10 in India today. It is the latest handset in the ‘Water series’, after they launched the Water 8 around a month back. Lets check out the specifications, features and the pricing of the device below.

The LYF Water 10 features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that is protected by Dongxu Glass and has a pixel density of 294 PPI. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with 450 MHz Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It comes with leather finish on the back for a comfortable grip.

The Water 10 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (micro), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 142 grams.

The Water 10 includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,300 mAh Lithium Polymer battery under the hood, which promises up to 7 hours of talk time on 4G, up to 3.5 hours of HD video playback, up to 15 hours of audio and up to 150 hours of standby time.

The Reliance LYF Water 10 is available in Black color and has been priced at Rs 8,699 in India. It comes with 2 years of warranty. The main USP of this phone is the Jio Preview offer, where the customer will get unlimited access to 4G data, voice calls and Jio Apps for 90 days (might get extended up to 1 year, according to various media reports).
