Reliance Retail has officially launched the LYF Flame 4 smartphone in India today, after announcing the LYF Flame 3 few days back. It is the latest low-end budget smartphone in the Flame series that supports VoLTE. Lets go through the specifications of the device now, which is very similar to that of Flame 3.
Reliance LYF Flame 4 Specifications
The LYF Flame 4 features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA TN display, that comes with a pixel density of 225 PPI and is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor along with Mali 400 MP2 GPU. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The Flame 4 comes with a 2 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (micro + standard), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 10.25 mm thick and weighs 117 grams.
The Flame 4 includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,400 mAh Lithium-ion battery under the hood, which promises up to 4.5 hours of talk time on 4G, up to 3.5 hours of HD video playback, up to 7 hours of audio and up to 150 hours of standby time.
The Reliance LYF Flame 4 is available in Black color and has been priced at Rs 3,999, same as the Flame 3. It is now selling via offline retail stores across the country. Earlier, the company had launched the LYF Flame 2 and LYF Flame 1 smartphones in the country.
The only reason for launching the LYF Flame 4 with exact pricing and similar specifications as of the Flame 3 is that the Flame 4 will be available offline whereas the Flame 3 is an online exclusive.
