Redmi Note 4G to be sold without registration on Republic Day weekend

Xiaomi sells their devices via flash sales in India for which you need to register before hand. The company has made exceptions in the past when the Redmi 1s and the Mi 3 were available during the Diwali festival period throughout the day. The Redmi Note 4G will also be available from January 24 to January 26 throughout the day.

60,000 units of Redmi Note 4G went on sale on January 20 and it took more than one hour to go “Out of Stock”. Previously, the phablet went on sale on January 13, January 6 and December 30. It is also available via Airtel Stores in selected cities in India.

Clearly, the Redmi Note 4G market is getting saturated and there is not much demand for it. Also, Xiaomi is about to launch the Mi 4 on December 28 which will go on sale on February 3. This could also mean the end of Redmi Note 4G flash sales or at least it will lose the prime slot of 2pm.

Now, Xiaomi sells the Redmi Note 4G at 2pm and the Redmi 1s at 5pm. So it will be interesting what happens when the Mi 4 comes into play.

So, people looking to get the Redmi Note 4G should buy it during January 24-26 when it will be available throughout the day on Flipkart.

Recently, Xiaomi announced the Mi Note and Note Pro. Do not expect it to be in India anytime soon.
