PHICOMM Passion 660 was launched in India exclusively on Amazon back in June for Rs 10,999. Now, the Chinese company has dropped its price by Rs 2,000 and the handset is now available for Rs 8,999.
PHICOMM arrived in India with the launch of Passion 660 and it undoubtedly provided great value in terms of specs to price ratio at that point. Since then the Indian smartphone industry has moved on rapidly when phones like Lenovo K3 Note and YU YUREKA PLUS came into existence. Now, the Passion 660 will be available for Rs 8,999 in India exclusively on Amazon starting today. Lets quickly recap its specifications.
PHICOMM Passion 660 Specifications
The PHICOMM Passion 660 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a unibody premium magnesium alloy build and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box with Expect OS 5.0 (custom skin) on top of it. The smartphone comes with built-in pedometer and step-counter which works very well and does not require GPS and Network and has 166 times power saving capability as compared to a software, according to the company.
It is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX214 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone weighs 110 grams and is 7.4 mm thick. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (second nano SIM can also be used as microSD slot).
On the connectivity front, the Passion 660 has 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It comes with a number of sensors such as G-sensor, L-sensor, P-sensor, E-compass, Barometer, Step-counter sensor, Gesture sensor. It packs in a 2,300 mAh battery under the hood. The PHICOMM Passion 660 is available in Black and White color variants.
