Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q1 has been officially announced. It is the latest rugged tablet in the Toughpad series. Lets go through the specifications of the tablet.
Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q1 Specifications
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q1 features a 12.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 10-point capacitive multi-touch display with Anti-reflective screen. It comes in two model – Standard and Performance. The Standard model is powered by a 1.58 GHz Intel Celeron N2807 processor (up to 2.16 GHz). It has 4 GB of SDRAM and comes with 64 GB eMMC memory and 128 GB SSD. The Performance model is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-4302Y vPro processor (Turbo Boost up to 2.3 GHz). It has 8 GB of SDRAM and comes with 128 GB eMMC memory and 256 GB SSD. The device runs on Windows 8.1 Pro out of the box and is upgradable to Windows 10 OS.
The Toughpad FZ-Q1 comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with an easy grip bottom cover and integrated stylus.
The Toughpad FZ-Q1 includes 4G LTE multi broadband with satellite GPS, Intel Dual Band Wireless AC7260 Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR Class 1, USB 3.0, MicroSDXC, Optical SmartCard reader and Optional Contactless SmartCard/RFID HF reader as connectivity options. It packs in a battery with fast charging support that will give up to 9 hours of battery life.
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q1 will go on sale around March and will be priced around US $999 (INR Rs 66,655 approximately) for the Standard variant and $$1,699 (INR Rs 1,13,391 approximately) for the Performance model. Accessories like backlit keyboard with carrying strap and spill resistant will be sold separately.
The company had recently launched Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 20-inch 4K tablet in India for Rs 2,40,000.
