Panasonic Lumix CM1 now up for pre-order in USA for USD 999

Panasonic Lumix CM1, the first Android powered smartphone camera is now available for pre-order in USA for US $999. It was introduced in September last year at Photokina. Lets have a look at the specifications.


Panasonic Lumix CM1 Specifications

The Panasonic Lumix CM1 features a 4.7-inch Full HD screen which is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and should receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the near future.


The Lumix CM1 has 1-inch MOS sensor and is capable of shooting 4k videos and click images at 20-megapixel resolution with an f 2.8 28mm Leica DC lens. The smart camera also have a dedicated shutter button and a slider button which helps to toggle between camera and smartphone modes. It can also capture RAW images. The Lumix CM1 has 4G LTE capable and packs in a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.

The Panasonic Lumix CM1 is now up for pre-order in USA for $999 from Adorama. The price is quite high compared to the specs being offered but if anyone picks it up, it will be surely for the camera.
