Panasonic Eluga Z smartphone launched in India for Rs 13490

Panasonic Eluga Z has been officially launched in India. It is the latest smartphone in the Eluga series that has a metal frame body based on CNC metal grinding technique. Lets go through the specifications.


Panasonic Eluga Z Specifications

The Panasonic Eluga Z features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) OnCell HD AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz true octa-core processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and hopefully will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop soon.

The Eluga Z comes with a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash which can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 6.85 mm thick and weighs only 120 grams. The smartphone has Dual SIM feature, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The smartphone includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. It features a 2,050 mAh battery under the hood. It supports 21 regional languages, has option for single-hand usage, stylish FitHome interface, gesture based functions like Double Tap to Lock/Unlock, Smart Swipe functionality and more.

The Panasonic Eluga Z is available in Ivory White, Midnight Blue and Champagne Gold colour variants and has been priced at Rs 13,490 in India. The company is throwing in a free Leather Flip cover, a transparent protective case and a protective screen guard.

The devices offer great functionality and design, accompanied by a comprehensive system of applications that reliability address the needs of our evolving customers.”

On this occasion, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India said,

“At Panasonic, we believe in incorporating features in our devices which cater the customers demand. In line with this, we have come up with our new CNC grinding based metal device with Fabric textured back which supports features like connectivity to Pen-drive and Indian regional language support.”
