OPPO R7s can now be pre-ordered in Malaysia, comes in Rose Gold too

OPPO R7s was recently announced at the GITEX 2015 in Dubai and now it is up for pre-order in Malaysia. Lets check out the pricing, availability and specifications of the latest device in the R series.


OPPO R7s has been listed on the official OPPO Malaysia website for RM 1,898 (US $435 approximately). The device can be pre-ordered without paying anything upfront and the pre-order period will end on November 22.

The R7s is available in Gold as well as limited edition Rose Gold color variant, however, the Rose Gold will ship around December. Also, the first 500 customers to pre-order the device will receive a free VOOC car charger.


OPPO R7s Specifications

The OPPO R7s features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phablet is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest Color OS 2.1 on top of it. It has a magnesium aluminium unibody design.

The R7s houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and Sony IMX214 sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it comes with a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calling. It is 6.95 mm thick and weighs 155 grams. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slot where the second nano SIM slot can also be used as microSD slot. Its specifications are similar to the OPPO R7 Plus but it does not come with the fingerprint scanner at the back.

The R7s includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. It houses a 3,070 mAh battery under the hood which uses OPPO’s proprietary VOOC Rapid Charge that charges the phone up to 90% in just about 50 minutes.
