OPPO R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition has been officially announced to celebrate OPPO’s three-year partnership with the football club FC Barcelona.
This is the first device as a part of the partnership between OPPO and Barcelona and has been dubbed as “Smartphone of Champions.” The special attraction of the device is that it comes with an engraved logo of the club, a themed wallpaper of the team, a fan kit which includes a FC Barcelona protective case and more. OPPO R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition Specifications
The OPPO R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition features a 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phablet is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest Color OS 2.1 custom skin on top of it. It has a metal body.
It houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash with laser auto focus. Below the flash sits the fingerprint sensor to unlock the device. It has a Sony IMX214 sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it comes with a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calling. It is 7.75 mm thick and weighs 203 grams. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slot where the second nano SIM slot can also be used as microSD slot.
The R7 Plus includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. It houses a 4,100 mAh battery under the hood which uses OPPO’s proprietary VOOC mini rapid charging system.
The OPPO R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition has been priced at US $549 (INR Rs 36,500 approximately). According to the company, only 5,000 units will be up for grabs from OPPOStyle.com in several markets where OPPO devices are sold.
