OPPO R1C smartphone announced priced at USD 400

OPPO R1C smartphone has been announced by OPPO, which is the successor of the R1, launched last year. The company has recently launched the OPPO R1 in India, one of the world’s slimmest phone in the world.


OPPO R1C Specifications

The OPPO R1C features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. OPPO R1C runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest Color OS 2.0 custom skin on top of it. Hopefully it will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop as well. It is also a very slim phone with just 6.85 mm thickness and weighs 130 grams.

The OPPO R1C houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It has a Sony IMX214 sensor with f2.0 aperture. With the latest PI 2.0 Flash Shot technology, the OPPO R1C will let you take shots with an imperceptible focus time. It has a maximum focus time of 0.18 seconds and also delivers 50-megapixel high-definition images. On the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling.


The OPPO R1C includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS as connectivity options. The R1C houses a 2,420 mAh battery under the hood which uses OPPO’s proprietary VOOC mini rapid charging system. The phone has glass back with diamond pattern which looks stunning. It has dual SIM (micro + nano) where the primary micro SIM slot supports 4G LTE and the secondary nano SIM slot has 2G (EDGE) connectivity.

The OPPO R1C will be available in white with gold frame and blue with silver frame colour variants and has been priced at 2499 Chinese Yuan (USD 400/INR Rs 24,875 approximately). It will go on sale in China via the official OPPO Online Store starting from January 20. We do not have any details about the global roll out yet.
