OPPO Neo 7 smartphone now officially announced

OPPO Neo 7 has been officially unveiled today. It is the successor of the OPPO Neo 5 that was launched in India back in June. Lets have a look at the specifications of the device.


OPPO Neo 7 Specifications

The OPPO Neo 7 features a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS TFT display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest ColorOS 2.1 custom skin on top of it. The back of the smartphone is made up of glass with mirror finish and also comes with micro-arc frame with curved finish.

The Neo 7 houses a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for your selfies and video calling. The smartphone has Dual SIM (Micro + Nano) support and it is 7.55 mm thick and weighs 141 grams.


The Neo 7 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone houses a 2,420 mAh battery under the hood.

The OPPO Neo 7 is available in Black and White color variants and the pricing of the device has not been revealed yet. It is expected to launch in India by the end of this week.
