OPPO Neo 5 launched in India priced at Rs 9990

OPPO Neo 5 has been officially launched in India. The smartphone was announced a couple of days back along with Neo 5s and has been priced at Rs 9,990. Lets take a look at the specifications.


OPPO Neo 5 2015 Specifications

The OPPO Neo 5 2015 variant features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS TFT display. The smartphone is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor along with Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest ColorOS 2.0.1 custom skin on top of it. Hopefully it will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop as well. The back of the smartphone is made up of glass.


The Neo 5 houses a 8 megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX179 1/3.2 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens and LED flash. On the front, it comes with a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. The smartphone has Dual SIM (Micro + Nano) support and it is 8 mm thick and weighs 135 grams.

The Neo 5 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The device houses a 2,000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery under the hood.

The OPPO Neo 5 2015 edition is available in Crystal White and Sapphire Blue colour variants and has been priced at Rs 9,990 in India.
