OPPO Mirror 5 with Snapdragon 410 chipset announced

OPPO Mirror 5 has been officially announced, couple of weeks after the Mirror 5s was introduced by the company. Lets check out the specifications.


OPPO Mirror 5 specifications

The OPPO Mirror 5 features a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM78916) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Color OS 2.1 on top of it. The back of the smartphone is made up of glass and has a metal frame all around.

The Mirror 5 houses a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. The camera has PI 2.0+ technology which include features like depth of field, Double Exposure, selfie mode with Beautify Mode 3.0 and more. The smartphone has Dual SIM (Micro + Nano) support and it is 7.65 mm thick and weighs 160 grams.

The Mirror 5 includes 4G LTE (700/ 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2300 / 2600 MHz), 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It also comes with infrared sensor for remote control functions. The smartphone houses a 2,420 mAh battery under the hood.

The OPPO Mirror 5 will be available in several variants. There will be a 3G only variant, an international 4G variant and an US only variant. It comes in white and blue colour variants and will be rolled out in 15 international markets, which includes South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, North Africa and Mexico. The pricing info has not been revealed yet.
