OPPO Joy Plus launched in India for Rs 6990

OPPO, a leading global technology brand originally from China with presence in North America, Europe and Asia has launched OPPO Joy Plus, a budget smartphone in India. Lets look at the specifications of the mid-ranger.


OPPO Joy Plus Specifications

The OPPO Joy Plus features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA sensitive display with a pixel density of 234ppi. The smartphone is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The Joy Plus runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest ColorOS 2.0 custom skin on top of it. Hopefully it will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop as well.

The OPPO Joy Plus houses a 3 megapixel rear camera. It has a Sony 2nd Generation stacked CMOS camera sensor. It brings many new features like Double Exposure with which two negatives overlap. On the front, it comes with a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. It has a highly acclaimed selfie mode – Beautify Mode 3.0 which will allow you to express different moods and states. The smartphone has Dual SIM (normal +micro) support and it is 9.9 mm thick and weighs 125 grams.


The OPPO Joy Plus includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The device houses a 1,700 mAh Li-Ion removable battery under the hood.

The OPPO Joy Plus is available in White and Blue colour variants and has been priced at Rs 6,990 in India. It will be available across various retail stores throughout the country.

OPPO recently launched N3 and Mirror 3 in India.
