OPPO F1s specifications and pricing revealed before India launch on August 3

OPPO India is all set to launch the OPPO F1s, an upgraded variant of the OPPO F1 at an event in Mumbai on August 3. Ahead of its official launch, full specifications, rendered images and pricing of the device has already been leaked.

The latest “Selfie Expert” from OPPO will come with a 16 megapixel selfie camera along with a super fast fingerprint sensor. The upcoming device borrows many elements from the recently launched OPPO A59. According to TechDroid, F1s will cost Rs 17,999 (US $270 approximately) in India. They even claim that the company will start taking pre-orders from August 4 to August 10. Also, customers pre-ordering the smartphone will be eligible for Exclusive gift pack and one lucky consumer will get an additional F1s autographed by one of their brand ambassadors (Hrithik Roshan or Sonam Kapoor or both). The OPPO F1s will feature a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It will be powered by an 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor along with Mali-T860 GPU. It will have 3 GB of RAM and come with 32 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest ColorOS custom skin on top of it.

The F1s will rock a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2,2 aperture. On the front, it will come with a 16 megapixel front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. It will support Dual SIM, come with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It will be 7.38 mm thick and weigh 160 grams. It will come with a flash fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, that will supposedly unlock the phone in just 0.22 seconds.

The F1s includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet will pack in a 3,075 mAh battery (non-removable) under the hood.
