OPPO F1 Plus phablet with 4GB RAM introduced in India for Rs 26990

OPPO India has also announced the upcoming OPPO F1 Plus in addition to the F1 at an event in Mumbai on January 28. It will come with a bigger Full HD display along with 4GB of RAM and “more sophisticated front camera experience”. Lets check out the specifications.


OPPO F1 Plus Specifications

The OPPO F1 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display that is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (Quad 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest ColorOS 2.1 custom skin on top of it.

The F1 Plus houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2,2 aperture, which can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (Micro + Nano) support where the second nano SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot. The F1 Plus includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. It will have a “more sophisticated front camera experience” compared to the OPPO F1 and the company has not revealed the battery capacity of the device yet.

The OPPO F1 Plus has been priced at Rs 26,990 in India and will go on sale around April, 2016. The company has launched the OPPO F1 for Rs 15,990. It will go on sale starting from February 1 in 8 cities that include Surat, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Trivandrum.


OPPO will also expand its offline sales outlets to 35,000 and target 180+ service centers across the country. Additionally, the company has also announced a 30-day replacement period and 24-month warranty policy for every OPPO product sold across India. Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor have been brought on board as brand ambassadors for South Asia region.
