OPPO F1 Plus, a new ‘Selfie Expert+’ phablet has been officially launched in India yesterday, as expected. It was introduced in the country on January 28 along with the launch of ‘Selfie Expert’, the OPPO F1. It is also the International variant of the OPPO R9 that was unveiled in China last month. Lets check out the specifications of the device.
OPPO F1 Plus Specifications
The OPPO F1 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with 1.66 mm ultra-narrow frame and a screen-to-body ratio of 77.68%. It is powered by an octa-core (Quad 2.0 GHz + Quad 1.0 GHz) MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor along with 700MHz Mali T860MP2 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 64 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with the latest ColorOS 3.0 custom skin on top of it. The body of the device is made up of 6063 aluminium alloy.
The F1 Plus houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, 80.6-degree wide-angle lens, which is capable of shooting 4K videos. On the front, it comes with a 16 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 78.1-degree wide-angle lens for your selfies and video calling. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano) support where the second nano SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot. It is 6.6 mm thick and weighs 145 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button which can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
The F1 Plus includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet houses a 2,850 mAh battery under the hood which supports VOOC Flash Charge. A 5 minutes charge will give up to 2 hours of talk time.
The OPPO F1 Plus is available in Gold and Rose Gold color variants and has been priced at Rs 26,990 and will go on sale across India starting mid-April. OPPO has also roped in Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh as its first Sports Ambassador for this cricket season.
