OPPO A37, a budget 4G smartphone was launched for global markets earlier this week. Today, it has been officially launched in India. Lets check out the specifications and features of the device now.

The OPPO A37 features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest ColorOS 3.0 custom skin based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

The A37 houses a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size and 1/3.2-inch BSI sensor. It can record Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, it comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size and 1/4-inch OmniBSI+ sensor for your selfies and video calling. It is 7.68 mm thick and weighs 136 grams. It supports Dual SIM (nano), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and also features Dirac HD sound.

The A37 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone houses a 2,630 mAh built-in battery under the hood.

The OPPO A37 is available in Grey and Gold color variants. It has been priced at Rs 11,990 in India. It will be sold via both online and offline stores starting from July 1, 2016. Recently, OPPO A59 with 3GB RAM was also announced but did not make it to India yet.
