OnePlus One goes on open sale in India on April 1

OnePlus One on Amazon India goes on open sale on April 1 at 10 AM. You will not need any invite to buy this device.


Both the 16GB and 64GB variant of OnePlus One on Amazon India will go on open sale at 10 AM on April 1, 2015. There will be limited number of units on sale. The 16GB is priced at Rs 18,999 and the 64GB costs Rs 21,999.

OnePlus OxygenOS based on Lollipop has been delayed along with CM 12S from Cyanogen Inc. There is no information on the exact release date yet. The company is also going to launch DR-1 Drone to enter the Drone industry in April. The OnePlus power bank which was launched in USA is also coming to India in April.

OnePlus One Specifications

The OnePlus One phablet features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC processor . It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16/64 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on CyanogenMod 11s on top of Android KitKat 4.4, but the company will shift to their own custom ROM called ‘OxygenOS‘ which will be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The OnePlus One comes with a 13-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with dual LED flash along with a Sony Exmor BSI sensor. It is also capable of recording 4K videos. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phablet weighs only 162 grams and is 8.9 mm thick. It is a single SIM device.

The OnePlus One includes 4G LTE/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC as connectivity options.
