We reported couple of days back, that the OnePlus One was breaking away from an Amazon exclusive and coming to Flipkart. Well, it was evident from the teaser posted by Flipkart but we managed to exclusively bring you the exact date.
Today, OnePlus has confirmed that the One is indeed hitting the Flipkart store from June 22. Only the 64GB Sandstone Black will be available at a discounted price of Rs 19,998 from June 22-June 24.
Announcing this partnership, OnePlus India said,
“The best of associations aren’t dependent on a mere common goal but on a shared path of equality, desire and no small amount of passion.
In saying this, we are incredibly excited in bringing the hottest smartphone to hit the country this past year, the OnePlus One to millions of Flipkart users and fans of our brand out there.
A wish is a freedom of the senses and sometimes things become possible if we want them bad enough. If you’ve been waiting around for that perfect time and offer to come along, the time is now! This monsoon season, OnePlus is teaming up with Flipkart as part of the ever-popular “Big App Shopping Days” to bring you all the flagship killer at a fantastic price of Rs 19,998 (64GB Sandstone Black) both via the Flipkart app and desktop.
Spread over three days, the sale kicks off from tomorrow, Monday, June 22 till the 24th. #AbHarWishHogiPoori”
It is to be noted that in spite of “Big App Shopping Days” festival on Flipkart, the discount on OnePlus One will be applicable both on the Flipkart app and desktop. From June 25, the 64GB variant will be again priced at Rs 21,999 on Flipkart and the 16GB Silk White will also be available in the coming weeks for Rs 18,999.
However, we are hopeful that the OnePlus One will go on sale every other week since the OnePlus 2 is nearing its launch. If you’re waiting for something new from OnePlus, they have confirmed that OnePlus 2 will be “cooler than ever” with an updated v2.1 Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC and in-house OxygenOS on board. The device will also be priced above US $322 (original cost of ‘One’) due to top-of-the-line processor and other hardware, according to OnePlus.
Thus, “Go big or go home!” has truly begun for OnePlus in India.
